We are responsible for foreigner permits, enforce the federal foreigner and asylum law, issue biometric Swiss passports and foreigner identity cards, and provide care and integration in our asylum centers.
The Migration Office is looking for a
Cook (m/f/d)
for the center with an integration character Bergruh in Amden starting February 1, 2026, or by agreement
Workload: 100%

What to expect
- You independently lead and design the gastronomy program
- You create varied and balanced menu plans
- You prepare the meals and are supported by residents whom you also supervise
- You take care of purchasing – paying attention to quality, sustainability, and regional products
- You ensure that all hygiene and food regulations are complied with
- You plan and organize culinary events such as Ramadan, barbecues, or the Christmas market
- You are the contact person for special diets
What distinguishes you
- You have completed an apprenticeship as a cook EFZ and preferably have experience from a home or hospital
- You work independently, are responsible, and have an eye for quality and details
- You approach people openly and respectfully and enjoy working with different cultures
- You are communicative and always find a good way even in challenging situations
- You like to pitch in and support the team
