What you'll be doing here

Participate in forest ecology research projects focusing on forest biodiversity

Support a dynamic research team during forest fieldwork

Maintain insect traps and acoustic loggers

Inventory forest structures such as deadwood and habitat trees

Prepare samples in the laboratory (insects and soil samples) for further analysis (metabarcoding and insect identifications)

What you'll bring with you

Interest in ecology and forests; focus on forest biodiversity

Accurate and careful working methods in the laboratory

Sure-footedness in rough terrain

Good working knowledge of German, English or French; knowledge of the other languages an advantage
