Description of functions
The ELR-8V differential current monitoring relay (fault or leakage current) is a relay for front panel mounting 96x96 according to DIN 43700. The relay is available with or without differential current display. Combined with a differential measuring transformer of the series
CT-1 the ELR-8V allows permanent monitoring of the differential current (alternating, pulsed according to EN 6220 RCM Type A), signaling an alarm or tripping the monitored installation if necessary. The differential current monitoring system is designed for installation on 2-, 3- or 4-conductor networks (TN-/TT systems). The trip sensitivity is continuously adjustable from 0.03 to 30 A. The response delay is continuously adjustable from 0.03 to 5 seconds. The alarm is activated at 70% of the programmed threshold. The output relay functions can be individually programmed in work (relay energized as long as the threshold is exceeded) or rest (relay energized as long as the threshold is not reached).

Important!
The size of the CT converters depends on the diameter of the conductors passing through the center.
