Job Description
- You work closely with the product development teams and support the development of new products
- You especially support the team with testing and measurement tasks in the R&D environment
- You independently perform 3D scans and geometry analyses
- You use tools like Python, Minitab (or similar) to prepare and evaluate test data and derive data-driven insights for product development and optimization
- You prepare results in technical reports and presentations – understandable for development, projects, and various stakeholders
- You contribute to the setup, operation, and further development of test and experimental setups in our own laboratory
- You support the digitalization of laboratory and analysis processes
Qualifications
Education: Successfully completed bachelor's degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or similar (FH/University) and the clear intention to pursue a master's degree in Switzerland
Experience and know-how: Initial experience in testing and measurement technology, mechatronics, and plant engineering. Basic knowledge in CAD/FEM, control engineering, programming (e.g., Python), data analysis, and AI
Personality and working style: Structured and independent working style with a high level of commitment. Team player, flexible, and solution-oriented with strong communication skills
Enthusiasm: High willingness to learn and enthusiasm for new things as well as a pronounced hands-on mentality
Great passion for numbers, data, and analytical questions.
Languages: Very good German and English skills
Additional Information
The Bosch PreMaster Program is a two-stage program for committed bachelor graduates who want to pursue a master's degree. The first phase, the so-called company phase, consists of 12 – max 18 months of practical experience to familiarize with technical and business contexts. The second phase includes the master's program, which is continued on a part-time basis. This phase includes additional events and seminars as well as personal support on the way to successful completion.
