In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Economy (AWI) in the Economic Directorate of the Canton of Zurich contributes to strengthening the economic location Zurich. The Location Promotion department is a service provider and contact point for questions about the economic location, from company formation to innovation promotion.
To complement our assistant team, we are looking for an initiative and versatile interested personality from mid-October 2025, or by arrangement.
Your main tasks:
- Assistance tasks for the department management
- answering and coordinating inquiries, appointments and company visits
- coordination of accounting
- ensuring telephone availability and reception of guests of location promotion as well as deputy for the AWI
- supporting project managers at events and in projects
- co-supervising a teacher
- supporting the operation of the new CRM as a power user
Your profile:
- completed commercial or equivalent training
- professional experience in a comparable function, ideally as an executive assistant
- cheerful and humorous personality with a service-oriented, structured and independent way of working
- digitally savvy with sound knowledge of Microsoft 365 and CRM application
- confident German and English skills in spoken and written form
- vocational trainer or willingness to complete training
- willingness to work occasional shifts at events outside regular hours
