Tasks:
- organize, plan and supervise new projects, ensuring quality system procedures and developing optimization concepts
- provide specialized technical advice for diagnostic cases in the electronic and IT fields
- supervise, keep updated and implement the electronic and IT equipment of the CCVP
- develop, upon request of superiors, concepts on IT platforms to optimize heavy vehicle controls
- perform analysis activities to prepare CCVP statistics
- participate in cantonal, inter-cantonal, federal working groups and technical-scientific activities
- constantly improve and update own skills according to needs
- act as the safety and health officer for CCVP employees
Requirements:
- Bachelor + Master in mechatronics, mechanical, electronic engineering or related field
- proven experience in vehicle engineering and technology
- proven experience in project management in technical-IT fields
- excellent knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- ability to work independently and in a team
- responsibility, goal orientation and problem-solving skills
- analytical, synthesis and writing skills
- excellent language skills in Italian, written and spoken knowledge of German and knowledge of English
- willingness to attend training and update courses and obtain related specialist certifications
- only tattoos that do not express discriminatory or offensive messages and are not located on the neck, nape, skull, face, and hands at the time of application are allowed
- type B driving license
- flexibility in employment as needed (extended hours, holidays, nights, on-call);
- Swiss nationality
- preferential qualifications may include:
- residence in the region (Bellinzona area, Leventina, Riviera and Blenio valleys) to ensure prompt intervention during on-call duties
- excellent knowledge of OBD systems and vehicle diagnostics
- technical and in-depth knowledge of heavy vehicles
Special notes:
- candidates participating in the competition authorize the Cantonal Police to process all data necessary to verify good conduct and absence of incompatible prior offenses
- the position of Scientific Collaborator I (class 10) can only be assigned to candidates with complete academic degrees: university license, degree, consecutive Bachelor + Master or professional university school (Bachelor + Master 270/300 ECTS credits) and at least 15 years of professional experience in the required field
- the position of Scientific Collaborator II (class 9) will be assigned to candidates with less than 15 years of professional experience in the required field and holding complete academic degrees: university license, degree, consecutive master or professional university school (Bachelor + Master 270/300 ECTS credits)

Employment conditions:

- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
