The Zurich Educational Media Publisher is one of the leading providers of teaching and learning materials in Switzerland. As a cantonal publisher, it develops and produces curriculum-guiding teaching materials primarily for elementary schools with around 75 employees.

The Digital Media department develops and produces the digital components of our learning media. As a maternity leave replacement, we are looking for a proactive specialist as Project Manager Digital Media starting November 1, 2025, or by arrangement. The position is limited to one year. A permanent position is subsequently possible at about 70% workload.

Your area of responsibility

You accompany teaching material projects from the concept phase to production and are responsible for the digital project part. You actively, creatively, and decisively drive the digital transformation forward. In doing so, you work closely with the authors as well as the project managers of the editorial team, production, and colleagues from digital media. You negotiate with service providers and suppliers on equal footing and coordinate between internal staff and external experts.

Your profile

You have several years of experience managing digital projects in interdisciplinary teams. In addition, you bring solid knowledge of current web technologies, CMS systems, and ideally also APIs and AI tools. Data analytics and data visualization are just as much part of your core competencies as your knowledge of e-learning and your deep media-didactic and media-pedagogical understanding. Your communication and organizational skills distinguish you as well as your flair for user experience. You enjoy working with prototypes and user feedback to continuously improve and adapt digital learning media to practice. Your strengths include confident presence, sensitivity in project management, and skillfulness in dealing with people. You work confidently and self-organized, are resilient, assertive, flexible, and a team player. You are familiar with the Swiss elementary school education system and development trends within education. A pedagogical education and teaching experience are advantageous.
