The restaurants in the PostFinance Arena are a popular meeting place for hockey fans, business people, members, and sponsors during the hectic game days of SC Bern. In addition to the heavily frequented ice hockey home games and the lunch business in the Arena Restaurant, banquets, seminars, and various events are among the strengths of the operation.
Sportgastro AG is a sister company of SCB Eishockey AG. We are looking for a Sous Chef 80-100% starting November 2025 or by arrangement.
You bring with you
- Completed professional training as a cook EFZ
- Several years of experience
- Good knowledge of German, additional languages are an advantage
- Creativity and passion for the culinary arts
- Expertise in all stations
- Stress resistance: organized, independent, and able to keep an overview even in hectic times
Your tasks are
- Support the head chef and deputize in their absence
- Work at various stations in match and banquet business
- Responsibility for the daily business in the arena restaurant including production
- Support in staff management
- Assist in training apprentices
- Assist in creating the inventory
- Ensure order and cleanliness as well as general cleaning tasks
- Fair and modern conditions
