Hospital Logistics Agent: Care Assistant

We are looking for summer students to work as hospital logistics agents (care assistants) from June to September 2026.

Context

The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.

Mission

We are looking for summer students to work as hospital logistics agents (care assistants) in the somatic clinical services of CHUV, to cover regular care assistant staff vacations, from June to September 2026.

Profile

• You have completed a pre-internship (2 to 6 months) or a propedeutic internship (medical student - 1 month) in one of the adult somatic hospitalization services at CHUV, and have performed satisfactorily. The certificate written by the service manager must mention this
• You are at least 18 years old
• You are aiming for training in the health field or are currently training in this field
• You are available for a full month (minimum) up to four full months (maximum) starting from the first working day of the month (between June 1 and September 30, 2026)
• You are open to being assigned to all somatic clinical services of the hospital city
• You have prior experience as a hospital logistics agent/care assistant (summer student) at CHUV, an advantage.

We offer

• A preliminary interview to define the period and duration of the activity
• A gross hourly salary of CHF 25.40 (including vacation and 13th salary - 2025 value), plus allowances for night work, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays

• For candidates living outside Lausanne, furnished accommodation can be rented from CHUV
• Work clothes are provided on loan and laundered free of charge. We also thank you for bringing comfortable and quiet shoes reserved exclusively for work.
