About the job
Your tasks:- Ensuring compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations for Switzerland & EU
- Checking import and export customs declarations using CH-Passar, ATLAS
- Classification of goods using HS/customs tariff numbers, ECCN as well as maintenance of master data in SAP
- Application of preferential agreements such as certificates of origin, supplier declarations or EUR.1
- Handling customs procedures as well as support during audits and internal controls
- Identification of process improvements to increase efficiency and compliance
Your profile:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in customs or foreign trade functions in an international industrial or trading company
- Very good knowledge of Swiss and EU customs regulations, the goods control ordinance and foreign trade law
- Experience in goods classification and ensuring compliance with preferential origin rules
- Confident handling of customs applications and SAP
- Analytical, structured and reliable working style with high attention to detail
- Very good German and English skills, additional languages are an advantage
