For our 4-star hotel of an international hotel chain in the Bern region, we are looking to strengthen our dedicated team immediately or by arrangement with a motivated and qualified personality as:
General Housekeeper | General Governor / Executive Housekeeper (m|f) 80% - 100%
In this role, you take on a key role in ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and quality in a dynamic hotel environment. You are responsible for organizing and reviewing daily cleaning tasks, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations, as well as training and leading employees. With your experience and flexibility, you ensure smooth operations in room and maintenance cleaning, thus significantly contributing to guest satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities
- Room Inspection and Release | Inspection and release of hotel rooms for use
- Documenting Technical Defects | Reporting and documenting technical defects
- Lost and Found Management | Reporting and documenting lost and found items
- Implementing Hygiene and Safety Regulations | Ensuring compliance with all hygiene and occupational safety regulations
- Employee Training / Recruitment | Training and onboarding employees / assisting in the recruitment process and preselection
- Ensuring Quality Standards | Responsibility for compliance with quality standards
- Hotel Management | First point of contact for hotel management
- Monthly Closing | Monthly preparation of room billing and work reports
- Financial Situation | Responsible for the financial situation in the hotel (contribution margin)
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Professional Experience | You have proven experience in the cleaning industry
- Leadership Experience | Experience as a team leader or in a comparable position
- Language Skills | Very good German skills are mandatory
- Working Style and Teamwork | Independent, reliable working style combined with strong teamwork skills
- Flexibility | Regular weekend shifts are not a problem for you
- Appearance | Neat appearance and professional demeanor
