The Bankruptcy Office Oerlikon-Zurich is responsible for conducting approximately 300 new bankruptcy proceedings annually within the district (city quarters Affoltern, Oerlikon, Schwamendingen, and Seebach).

Your area of responsibility
You independently conduct bankruptcy proceedings. Protective measures and inventory recordings are associated with field assignments. In the office, file management also includes the examination of debtors, the realization of assets, as well as the preparation of ranking plans and distribution lists. The work as a bankruptcy secretary is not an everyday job – it offers exciting insights and diverse encounters with people, at the pulse of life.
What you bring
- At least three years of professional experience after commercial or equivalent training, primarily at a bankruptcy office
- Preferably the Bankruptcy Law II certificate, an equivalent training, or a completed law degree with practical experience in bankruptcy matters
- Impeccable reputation
- Professional and confident appearance, assertiveness, flexibility, independence, resilience, discretion, and of course, teamwork skills
- Conscientious, solution-oriented, and organized working style
- Negotiation-level German skills in spoken and written form; foreign language skills are an advantage
- Good IT user skills (existing knowledge of the eXpert Konkurs software is helpful)
