Do you want to leverage your sector knowledge by managing your own portfolio of banks and securities firms and take responsibility for institutions, from authorization to the end of supervision? Then this position is for you.
- Independent processing of changes to authorization conditions concerning banks (in particular changes in bodies, adaptations of regulations, and restructurings).
- Support for exciting authorization projects and management of new authorization procedures for banks and securities firms.
- Contact person for project managers, supervised entities, legal representatives, audit firms, and foreign supervisory authorities.
- Review of interesting legal issues related to corporate governance as well as the supervision of innovative business models.
- Close collaboration with the FINMA supervisory areas and cross-functional departments.
- Complete university education in law, with solid experience in financial market law.
- Good knowledge of the operational and legal conditions for the proper organization of a bank.
- Several years of experience in financial market law within a bank, audit firm, authority, or law firm.
- Developed analytical and judgment skills, as well as the ability to manage files independently.
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Professional attitude and ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
- Very good knowledge of French (C2) and good knowledge of German and English (B2).
