Strategic Facility Manager Overhead Lines (80-100%) - 1361
Contribute to the electricity supply in Switzerland
In this exciting position, you establish strategies, guidelines, standards, and technical specifications for managing the entire lifecycle of overhead lines. You take on the following tasks:
- Development of technical standards, strategies, guidelines, directives, technical specifications, and framework contracts for managing the entire lifecycle of future or renovated overhead lines
- Monitoring Asset Performance, analyzing issues resulting from overhead line disruptions, and defining risk-based measures
- Advising project teams on technical questions with high strategic impact or unresolved issues, thereby reinjecting expertise into technical standards.
- Advising facility managers on issues related to disruption elimination
- Representing Swissgrid in its area of activity vis-à-vis network connection partners and neighboring TSOs, as well as in national and international technical committees

For this responsible position, we are looking for a structured personality with good communication skills. You enjoy networking and developing cooperative solutions to meet different needs and requirements. In addition, you bring the following:
- Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent; additional training in business management, Asset Management, or project management is an advantage
- Several years of experience in facility management and project engineering, and in-depth technical knowledge in the construction, operation, and maintenance of overhead lines
- Ideally, you have knowledge of the general conditions defined by law for energy network infrastructure, especially in the field of line construction
- Fluency in French or German, both spoken and written, including in negotiation contexts, with good knowledge of the other language and a good command of English.
