Support in Administrative Processing 80 - 100%
At the heart of the economy! This is where we operate at the Commercial Register Office of the Canton of Zurich, processing over 70,000 business cases each year with our 70 employees. We are responsible for all registrations of companies based in the Canton of Zurich and ensure transparency and legal certainty in business transactions. If you like to twiddle your thumbs and dislike variety, you are not a fit for us. But if you are looking for a challenging administrative task where you will never be bored, then we should get to know each other!
Due to a recent change in the law, our areas of responsibility are expanding. For this, we are looking for support in administrative processing and are creating two new positions (80-100%). One position is permanent, so you can become a long-term part of our team. The second position is initially limited until the end of July 2028 and is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in our diverse range of tasks. The start is possible from October 1 or by arrangement.

What is your task
- In the first six months, you will gradually learn the types of cases where you can particularly effectively relieve the team. Afterwards, you will focus on the official registration procedures and carry them out independently and efficiently from A to Z
- You will process other registration transactions such as new registrations, changes, and deletions for various legal forms
- You will carefully check commercial register applications and documents for legal compliance and completeness and prepare registration orders
- You will provide information competently and friendly to our customers, i.e., companies, lawyers, fiduciary firms, and private individuals
What do you bring with you?
- A cheesecake on your first working day (alternatively, a chocolate cake is also fine)
- You have completed your commercial training, already gained several years of professional experience, and are interested in legal and corporate law topics
- Your quick comprehension, your interconnected thinking, and your very efficient way of working characterize you
- You have a knack for electronic paperwork – in other words, you are digitally advanced and are very familiar with MS Office applications
- You have excellent German skills and ideally additional foreign language skills
- You don’t get rattled if the stack is a bit higher sometimes. Thanks to your high self-motivation, you approach repetitive tasks with concentration and perseverance
- You want to create real added value for society and the economic location Zurich with your work
- Last but not least, you bring a communicative and cheerful personality
You can expect quite a bit
Although we operate within a tight legal framework and structured environment, we live flat hierarchies, are very digitally advanced, uncomplicated, open, and also like to laugh. You can expect centrally located workplaces as well as attractive employment conditions.
