Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration, and commissioning of xWDM, as well as MPLS and IP data networks
- Measuring the systems and creating the corresponding protocols
- Performing OTDR measurements
- Integration of new systems into existing data networks
- Service and maintenance of the systems
- Troubleshooting, retrofitting, and repair of installed systems
- Documentation of performed work
- Independent working
- Close cooperation with construction and project management
- Entrepreneurial and cost-conscious thinking
Profile and Skills:
- Completed vocational training in telecommunications / communications technology / electrical engineering EFZ
- Professional experience in data networks, focus on xWDM and MPLS data networks
- Experience with IP networks (Layer 2 and Layer 3)
- Very good German skills spoken/written
- Understanding of written instructions/documents in English
- Independent and reliable working style, good organizational skills
- Customer orientation
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight in Switzerland
- Driver's license category B
- Freedom from dizziness and suitability for mast work
