Tasks

From our operations control center, you take over the operational management and responsibility for the ground and flight operations of Edelweiss. You ensure a smooth flight operation process and contribute significantly to the safety, punctuality, and efficiency of our operations.

You are responsible for the creation and preparation of flight documents for short- and medium-haul flights as well as for the planning and operational support of our long-haul flights.

Additionally, you take on the following tasks:

• You independently recognize and manage unforeseen operational irregularities and make well-founded decisions on short-term alternative solutions
• You act as the central contact person for crews as well as for our handling and ground service partners worldwide in all matters of flight preparation and handling
• You create and monitor ATC flight plans and are responsible for Eurocontrol slot handling
• You prepare the Daily Operations Reports, work with the Ops-Control tool Netline, and support the team with other tasks

Requirements

For this position, we are looking for a colleague with a completed aviation degree, a Flight Dispatch training, or several years of aviation professional experience, preferably from the areas of Ground Operations, Operations Control, or Flight Dispatch.

What else is needed:

• You have pronounced analytical, organizational, coordinative, and communicative skills and can make appropriate decisions and set priorities correctly even under stress and time pressure
• Assertiveness as well as high service orientation and customer focus Willingness to work irregular shifts (24 hours / 365 days)
• Communication in German and English is no problem for you. Ideally, you also bring corresponding language certificates at level B2.
• Very good Microsoft 365 user skills, especially MS Teams
• The minimum age for the position is 21 years.
