The Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau is home to over 250 elderly people. At the three locations Heinrichsbad, Ebnet, and Dreilinden, around 260 employees shape everyday life in our houses. They ensure a high quality of life for the residents and thus make a valuable contribution to society. Cook EFZ (40-80%)
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated cook EFZ who is versatile and brings joy and talent for the patisserie area in addition to the hot kitchen.
Your demanding and varied tasks:
- Preparation of fresh, balanced, and tasty meals
- Work in all areas of kitchen operations (hot kitchen, cold kitchen, dishwashing, mise en place)
- Production of desserts, pastries, and baked goods (patisserie)
- Co-responsibility for compliance with hygiene and quality standards
- Collaboration and active knowledge exchange within the team
- Careful handling of food and work equipment
Our requirements:
- Completed apprenticeship as a cook EFZ
- Experience in patisserie
- Experience in home or hospital catering is an advantage
- Independent, reliable, and conscientious working style
- Neat appearance and friendly manner
- Team player, committed and motivated
