EES System Administrator

Technical Office | 80-100% | Thusis

The Technical Office is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of cantonal roads, as well as for the implementation of hydraulic works and non-motorized traffic in Graubünden. In addition, we take care of the operational maintenance of national roads within the canton. The cantonal road infrastructure includes over 1450 structures, including bridges up to 90 meters high and tunnels up to 3 kilometers long. The challenges that the nature of our mountain canton hides in summer and winter make our work demanding and varied. As an office certified with the Friendly Work Space label, the health and satisfaction of our approximately 480 employees are particularly important to us. For this reason, we are committed to systematic health management in the company (GSA).

The technical section manages the entire operational and safety equipment of the cantonal and national roads as well as the more than 40 tunnels in the canton of Graubünden. This equipment consists of a modern and complex panorama of IT/OT and network systems. The environment includes, among other things, communication infrastructure, video surveillance, ventilation in case of accidents, tunnel sensor technology, lighting, and traffic management in tunnels and along road sections. All of this is managed via a modern control system.

For the road maintenance sector in the technical section, we are looking for from July 1, 2026 or by agreement an EES system administrator in the technical systems/automation sector.

Tasks

Collaborate in the operation and maintenance of 1st and 2nd level support of the diverse infrastructure along the cantonal and national road network within a small team
Participate in cantonal and federal projects for the development and enhancement of the IT/OT environment
Perform work outside regular hours as well as on-call and night service

What we expect from you

Diploma as a certified SSS technician in computer science or equivalent training
Several years of professional experience in at least one of the areas of computer networks, control technology, video systems, IP telephony, as well as willingness to familiarize yourself with complex specific areas
Organizational talent with an independent working method and a strong sense of responsibility
A personality capable of working in a team, flexible and communicative
The working language is generally German
Good knowledge of Italian is an advantage
