We care for our residents and their relatives with professional competence and a lot of human commitment in often complex situations. Treatment, care, and support of high quality therefore require specific knowledge in the field of geriatrics as well as individually tailored support in health, social, or emotional matters.
That is why our multiprofessional team works closely together. It consists of doctors, nursing professionals, a social worker, activation specialists, therapists, and chaplains.
Here you get involved
- Organization and assistance in the care and support of residents with moderate to severe care needs, especially those with dementia, within the framework of long-term care (24 places in our protected unit) in cooperation with the ward management
- Co-responsibility for the personnel and professional leadership as well as advising the approximately 30 employees
- Monitoring the economical use of resources
- Taking over the tasks of the ward management in their absence
- Occasional creation of the duty roster in the personnel deployment system (PEP)
- Professional and individual patient care as a reference person
- Active interprofessional collaboration
You
- have completed training as a Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF/FH
- have already gained initial leadership experience
- have several years of professional experience in the long-term care sector in Switzerland, especially in geriatrics and palliative care
- preferably have RAI coordinator and supervisor training
- are open and motivated for new challenges
- maintain a respectful, appreciative, and motivating interaction with patients, relatives, and the team
- are an independent, resilient, responsible, and service-oriented personality
- possess excellent German skills (spoken and written)

The Spital Limmattal Care Center is located in close proximity to the city of Zurich, only three S-Bahn stations from the main train station.
