As part of the six-member Media Relations team, you shape the public perception of SWISS – both in everyday life and in exceptional situations. You stand for professional media work, clear storytelling, and confident presence in dynamic moments.
- You are the first point of contact for the media, respond quickly and reliably to inquiries, and position SWISS with clear messages
- You actively set topics, write press releases, and develop content for various channels
- You advise top management on appearances and interviews
- You regularly perform on-call and weekend duties and act calmly and professionally in case of irregularities or crises
- You maintain a strong network with journalists and know the dynamics of editorial offices from your own experience
- Optional: You take on responsibility as chief of duty in the newsroom and manage topics and daily priorities

- Completed studies in communication, journalism, business, or equivalent education
- Several years of experience in journalism or corporate communications
- Strong language skills and confident judgment in complex situations
- Experience handling media inquiries and crisis topics
- Confident appearance, resilience, and team spirit in a 24/7 dynamic environment
- Native German speaker, very good English (spoken and written), French is an advantage
- Interest in aviation is a plus – passion for precise, effective communication is a must
