For a globally active freight forwarding company, which focuses on offering sea freight services, we are looking for a new, motivated work partner accordingly. TASKS: handling and managing LCL & FCL sea freight shipments creating the necessary documents for shipping and export/customs clearance exchanging with customers, generating offers maintaining contacts with agents/partners checking invoices from service providers processing complaints general commercial activities in the sea freight business REQUIREMENTS: completed training in the forwarding sector (freight forwarding clerk, freight forwarding and logistics services clerk, etc.) already has experience in the sea freight sector (ideally in export, but can also be from import sea freight business) LANGUAGES: German: knowledge (intermediate oral and written skills are sufficient) – the main customer's company language is English English: good oral and written skills (at forwarding level) AGE: approx. 20 to 55 years START DATE: by arrangement WORKPLACE: Basel EuroAirport SPECIAL: For the existing sea freight team, which has been working well together for a long time, it should (again) be someone who is uncomplicated and cheerful.
