• The missions of SPAJ consist of ensuring the prevention, promotion, and protection of youth and taking care of adults in difficulty. The service develops and finances outpatient care for children and guarantees the well-being of placed children while financially supporting extrafamilial care structures and specialized education institutions.

You manage guardianship mandates according to articles 393 and following of the CCS.

You conduct various consultations and social investigations and provide your help, advice, and support to the service users, in collaboration with numerous Neuchâtel and Romandy services and institutions (network work).

Holder of a bachelor’s degree in social work, social service orientation, or an equivalent recognized title, you have an interest and professional experience in caring for adults in difficulty.

You also possess in-depth knowledge of the functioning of social insurances and the judicial system and demonstrate the ability to work in a team.

Endowed with good social skills, you know how to show reflexivity and understanding. Your rigorous and methodical organization, combined with mastery of administrative and financial management, allows you to efficiently manage your files and priorities.

Ultimately, you are willing to follow training to obtain the advanced studies certificate (CAS) in adult guardianships.

A criminal record and debt collection extract are required upon hiring.

You hold a motor vehicle and are ready to use it for service purposes.
