Process Engineer Vulcanizing

Technical authority for vulcanization technology chains at the Switzerland site. Drives the standardization of systems and corresponding processes.

MAIN ROLE AND ACTIVITIES

• Process responsibility for the vulcanization process chain at the Switzerland site, including the creation and maintenance of production and process documentation (work instructions, methods, processes, guidelines, etc.)

• Project management / project leadership and project support

• Active support in the qualification of processes, elastomers and products

• Development and implementation of optimization solutions to improve process stability, product quality, efficiency and personal safety while complying with quality standards

• Technical expert in production problems in collaboration with quality and product management

• Analyze, optimize processes and eliminate waste

• Show resulting improvements and profitability increases with our CIP and DarWin tool for continuous improvement

KEY EXPERIENCES - What experiences lead to success in this position?

• In-depth knowledge in process engineering as well as plant engineering

• Knowledge in the field of process analysis and optimization

• In-depth knowledge of the vulcanization process, vulcanization tools and elastomers

• Experience in creating plant documentation, work instructions and training materials

• Experience in training employees

COMPETENCIES - Which competencies lead to success in this position?

• Completed technical basic training

• Further training in process/chemical engineering or similar fields

• Proven experience in project management/project leadership in industry

• Good MS Office and ERP knowledge, preferably Microsoft Dynamics (D365)

• Teamwork and very good German skills in spoken and written form, able to communicate in English, clarify and document matters

• Assertiveness, independent working style, commitment and resilience, analytical thinking, communication skills and confident appearance.

• Experience with VBA programming (e.g. Excel), knowledge of SQL
