Job Description
Your main tasks as a University Intern Mechanical Engineer 100% (m/f/div.) for 6 - 18 months include planning and installing new production lines and modifications to existing machines. You will be introduced to a project where you will take project responsibility, as well as planning and conducting production trials and zero-series under your supervision.
Your tasks essentially include:
- Project and budget responsibility for new production lines and customer projects as well as defining the information and material flow are part of your responsibilities
- You coordinate activities with the involved departments to achieve their goals and projects (logistics, technical support, quality)
- Optimizing and developing products and process steps in collaboration with worldwide departments fall within your scope
- You create control plans and FMEA processes
- Planning and documenting work steps, workflows, and procedures as well as revising technical documentation and work instructions complete your area of responsibility
Qualifications
- Education: Technical basic education with a completed or ongoing degree (FH / HF / University) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
- Personality and working style: Flexible, solution-oriented, independent personality with a systematic and analytical working style and enjoyment of working in a dynamic production environment
- Experience and know-how: Good knowledge in Lean, 5S, FMEA, and 8D report, professional experience in manufacturing or process engineering as well as SAP and MS Office skills are advantageous
- Languages: Good language skills in German and English
