Setter / Setter in Plastic Injection Molding
Your Task
You ensure a powerful and stable production of injection molded parts while guaranteeing quality, punctuality, and process reliability in a demanding industrial environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Preparing, equipping, and setting up injection molding machines and molds
- Setting process parameters, monitoring, and optimizing ongoing production
- Ensuring part conformity
- Possible collaboration with sample makers
- Troubleshooting and performing maintenance work at the first level
- Responsibility for the care and cleaning of molds as well as for order, cleanliness, and compliance with SUVA safety regulations
Your Profile
You have completed training in plastics technology or as a polymechanic and bring several years of professional experience in plastic injection molding. Handling technical documentation is natural for you, and you are able to analyze processes, set them correctly, and intervene specifically in case of deviations.
You are skilled in programming and operating 3-axis robots as commonly used in plastic injection molding.
Thanks to your logical thinking, manual skills, and structured working method, you ensure reliable and high-quality production. Quality assurance and occupational safety are very important to you, and you act responsibly, diligently, and carefully.
You enjoy working in a team, are reliable, committed, and flexible, but can also work independently and responsibly, recognize tasks proactively, and do not require constant supervision.
You communicate confidently in German or French, both spoken and written. English skills are an advantage. Good physical resilience (lifting and carrying loads up to 15 kg) is required. Further training in plastics technology and a forklift license are advantageous.
