Job Description
- Provide care to adolescents suffering from psychological issues.
- Support each adolescent through personalized care, based on the interdisciplinary therapeutic project and translated according to your competency framework.
- Develop an individualized care approach (nurse's own role) based on an assessment of the adolescents' needs and resources, analyze them; make nursing diagnoses; determine care objectives; implement appropriate actions; evaluate them and make necessary adjustments.
- Inform and provide the necessary and appropriate education to adolescents as well as their family environment, to strengthen their responsibility and autonomy in action and decision-making.
- Manage group dynamics to be favorable to the development of each adolescent by ensuring quality care, in accordance with the institution's care philosophy, ethical standards, and current professional requirements and competencies, while guaranteeing the necessary safety measures for the adolescents and oneself.
- Maintain and develop daily life activities (hygiene, comfort, relationships), as well as participate in various weekly therapeutic activities or during school holiday periods.
- Be able to manage crisis situations.
- Maintain excellent collaboration within the care team, the medico-therapeutic team, and with the teacher as well as the various regional networks. Work closely to define care objectives to support management and monitor the adolescents' progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent qualification
- Proven professional experience in pediatric psychiatry
- Comfortable using computer tools
- Teamwork: Ability to integrate and adapt within a multidisciplinary team (doctors, educators, psychologists, nurses, ASSC, etc.).
- Sense of responsibility and good priority management
- Flexibility and availability: Ability to work a schedule with day/night rotations and weekends.
- Motivation, dynamism
- Stress management: Ability to adapt to crisis situations, take a step back, and maintain the institutional framework.
- Knowledge of relational approaches and firm holding techniques
- Interest in clinical research: Willingness to participate in projects to improve practices and research in the field of pediatric psychiatry.
Additional Information
