The Blue Cross Bern-Solothurn-Freiburg is a specialized organization for addiction issues with the areas of work prevention + health promotion, counseling + therapy as well as integration + businesses. Around 90 employees and about 260 volunteers at 13 locations implement the diverse services, which are co-financed by service contracts from the cantons as well as donations and contributions from institutions and private individuals.

The networking with the Swiss and International Blue Cross supports innovation and quality assurance. The Blue Cross is politically and denominationally independent.

The Blue Cross Brocki Thun is a secondhand store with a social mission. In addition to selling used goods, we offer meaningful work and integration places for people in challenging life situations. Area of activity

• Friendly advice and service to our customers in the sales area
• Presentation, care, and management of the merchandise display
• Participation in acceptance, sorting, evaluation, and labeling of goods
• Coordination and participation in daily sales operations (order, cleanliness, merchandise presentation)
• Support in managing the warehouse as well as goods receipt and dispatch
• Assistance with cash register operation and simple administrative tasks
• Active participation in promotions, special sales, and further development of Blue Cross Brocki Thun
• Guiding, accompanying, and promoting clients within the framework of integration and employment offers

Requirements profile

• Completed training in retail (EFZ) or a related professional field, preferably experience in sales / secondhand sector
• Independent, team-capable, and responsible working style
• High commitment, flexibility, and resilience
• Enjoyment of direct customer contact and customer-oriented actions
• Manual skills advantageous (e.g., furniture assembly, minor repairs)
• Organizational and administrative skills as well as good PC user knowledge
• Willingness to work Saturdays
• Enjoyment in dealing with people with addiction or in stressful life situations
• Identification with our mission statement and Christian core values
