Our Financial Accounting Advisory Services Team provides consulting services across the entire finance function. To further strengthen our Enhanced Accounting and Reporting Team in Zurich or Basel, we are looking for an experienced, team-oriented, motivated, and committed personality as Senior Consultant / Manager (80-100%).

Your main areas of responsibility:
Support our clients with their challenges in the area of Enhanced Corporate Reporting and Accounting (ECRA).
This includes, among other things, assistance with changes in accounting standards, implementation of new accounting standards, support in the design, implementation, and maintenance of accounting and reporting, participation in the preparation of financial statements and notes, as well as advice related to non-financial reporting processes (e.g. e.g., sustainability reporting).
Support with technical accounting questions and specific challenges of our clients (e.g. e.g., special accounting issues), including those related to the statutory individual financial statements under Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) as well as Swiss GAAP FER and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
You work with specialists from various departments (e.g., tax and sustainability, etc.) as well as with international experts to provide our clients with an integrated and cross-disciplinary service.
Support our clients in adapting and transforming their finance function – including identifying optimization and efficiency potentials in their reporting processes as well as accompanying the implementation, automation, and/or improvement of internal control systems.
Ensure a clear understanding of the business requirements and expectations of our clients to deliver high-quality, clear, and professionally prepared results.
You ensure timely delivery of work results while complying with regulatory requirements.
Identify and develop new business opportunities related to FAAS projects, solutions, and client relationships in the area of Enhanced Corporate Reporting and Accounting (ECRA)
What you bring — skills with which you shape the future
Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics and additionally a diploma as a certified auditor (or equivalent) (e.g., expert in accounting and controlling, CPA, or ACCA).
4-7 years of experience in an auditing or consulting firm or in the finance function of a larger company.
Very good knowledge of accounting according to the Swiss Code of Obligations, Swiss GAAP FER, and IFRS. Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus.
As an additional plus, you have project experience related to sustainability topics in accounting and reporting.
