About the job
The Hospitals of Schaffhausen include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices, as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. Additionally, we are an important training centre in the canton.
In our experienced team, we are looking from 1 February 2027 for a maternity cover Nutrition Therapist with a passion for clinical nutrition. The position is limited until 31 August 2027.
The nutrition counselling team cares for inpatients from all disciplines in the context of malnutrition and clinical nutrition. Additionally, we conduct outpatient consultations focusing on diabetes, bariatrics, malnutrition, oncology, and endometriosis.
Nutrition Therapist, BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics
- Clinical nutrition therapy with a focus on geriatrics, visceral surgery, medicine, oncology
- Outpatient consultations focusing on: diabetes, endometriosis, malnutrition (follow-up of inpatients) and oncology
- Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics or certified nutritionist FH/HF (SRK recognition for foreign diplomas)
- Professional experience in the clinical field is an advantage
