This temporary role provides handson experience in business analytics within a pharmaceutical environment. The successful candidate will focus on structured analyses, reporting and dashboard support, contributing to evidencebased decisions across marketing, sales, medical and enabling functions. Organisationally, you are part of the IBEX area and thus strongly connected with departments across the organisation, from sales to marketing and supporting functions.
You will be responsible for:
- Business Insights Support: Execute qualitative and quantitative analyses to address defined business questions related to commercial performance and operational data. Summarize findings in clear, concise outputs
- Forecasting Support: Assist during sales forecasting cycles, including data preparation, patient funnel inputs and scenario checks
- Customer Engagement Analyses: Perform specific analyses on customer engagements and channel performance to identify patterns and opportunities
- Brand Performance: Provide evaluation and interpretation of brand and market performance under guidance from Insights Managers. Communicate results with appropriate context.
- Visualisations & BI: Contribute to user centric dashboard design and maintenance (e.g., Power BI/Tableau). Ensure data accuracy, usability and consistent refreshes
- Process Improvements: Identify data or workflow bottlenecks and propose practical refinements to increase efficiency in sales and marketing operations
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Life Science and/or Data Science, or related field; Master's preferred
- Experience: first experience in business analytics, reporting, or similar roles; pharmaceutical sector exposure is a plus
- Skills:
- Proficiency with Excel, experience working with ThinkCell; advanced analytical skills and BI familiarity with BI tools are a plus
- Ability to clean, harmonise, and integrate data sets for analysis with attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Clear written and verbal communication; ability to present findings simply and logically
- Fluency in English (German and/or French are nice to have)
- Competencies:

- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams.
- Time Management: Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Comfortable working with analysts and managers; able to translate requests into actionable analytical tasks.
