About the job

About 320 students attend the Secondary School Rosenau in 17 classes in the Winterthur South city district. The Quims School is currently run as a three-part secondary school without levels and also includes an intake class. The team of teachers and other school staff comprises around 50 people and is very motivated. In this versatile role as co-principal, you will take over the management of the Secondary School Rosenau together with the motivated and experienced job partner with a similar workload from August 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

Operational management of the school unit in the organizational, administrative, and financial areas (school credit) together with the existing co-principal

Personnel and pedagogical leadership of the staff

Promoting and securing school and quality development

Representing the school internally and externally

Collaboration with the school board, the education management, and the school principals in Winterthur

Your Profile

Proven leadership and professional experience in the educational environment, preferably with school management experience

Started or completed school management training

Teaching experience as a teacher at kindergarten or primary school level desired

Solution-oriented attitude and composure in dealing with challenging situations

Flair for organizational and administrative tasks

Communicative, appreciative with a participative leadership approach
