As part of our experienced and open laboratory team, you support microbiological analyses of food, feed, and drinking water samples. You appreciate the varied activity profile and contribute with a high degree of personal responsibility.

Job Description

In your new position, you are responsible for the following main tasks:

• You perform microbiological, molecular biological, and biochemical examinations on food, surface, and water samples.
• You carry out PCR rapid methods, ELISA rapid tests, and MALDI-TOF MS analyses.
• You take on equipment responsibilities including inspection and maintenance.
• You conduct laboratory ring trials.
• Depending on prior experience, you support the validation of new methods, customer projects, and quality management tasks.

Qualifications

For this position, you bring the following skills and knowledge:

• You have successfully completed a qualifying education in biology and have already gained practical experience in microbiological analytics, preferably in food analytics (≥ 6 months).
• You are an absolute team player who wants to contribute with a high level of responsibility and personal commitment.
• You are experienced in using PCs and preferably also laboratory information systems (LIMS).
• You have good to very good German language skills (C1 level).

Additional Information

• You have a 40-hour week at 100% with core working hours from 08:00 – 20:00.
• You take on about one weekend shift per month.
