About the Position
We are looking for talented and committed specialists for our final inspection in the area of generator circuit breakers (GCB). In our modern production facility in Oerlikon, we use innovative technologies and processes to continuously improve the efficiency and quality of our products. Our products are known worldwide for their safety and reliability. As part of our team, you contribute to our high quality standards. For this, we are looking for a Head of Final Inspection GCB who leads a team of 5 employees and is part of the factory management team.
What you can achieve
Technical and disciplinary leadership of the team in the FAT (routine test field)
Further development of the test field regarding efficiency, equipment, and occupational safety
Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations in the test area
Creation and maintenance of quality documentation in SAP
Planning and coordination of test appointments in cooperation with AVOR
Responsibility for measuring equipment and test processes
Conducting tests according to the test plan including evaluation of measurement results and customer approvals
Analysis and correction of mechanical and electrical faults based on electrical diagrams
Correction of wiring errors in the control cabinet
Ensuring timely and high-quality testing of the assigned circuit breakers
What you bring with you
Completed technician training in electrical engineering
Solid knowledge in occupational safety, especially in handling electrical systems
Experience in leading small teams
Confident handling of electrical diagrams, assembly drawings, and work instructions
Knowledge in testing electrical machines and control cabinets
Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
High IT affinity and experience with software tools for measurement and documentation
Structured, focused working style – even under time pressure
Strong quality awareness
Very good knowledge of relevant safety standards (e.g., ESTI 407, DIN EN 50191 / VDE 0104:2011-10)
Experience in cooperation with certification bodies and authorities
