The Department of Nursing Science of the Department of Public Health at the University of Basel is looking for an administrative employee*in in the areas of teaching and accounting, available immediately or by arrangement.
The Institute of Nursing Science (INS) operates in the innovative research environment of the University of Basel with research focuses on "Innovative Care Models" and "Patient Safety and Care Quality." The research at INS is clinically oriented, and the development and use of results in practice is a priority. This transfer is enabled by established academy-practice partnerships with hospitals and nursing institutions in the Basel area. INS runs a master's program in nursing science with focuses on clinical practice and research. INS is part of the Department of Public Health (DPH) of the Medical Faculty.
Your Tasks
Part 1 (60%) You are responsible for the administrative support of teaching in the master's program with a 60% workload. In this position, you support the head of the teaching area, the program coordinator, and student advising in organizing the master's program, including independent management of SAP Campus/LAP and ADAM, student files, maintaining contact with lecturers, room planning for courses, standard student advising, planning and preparing events for current and prospective students, as well as marketing the program.Part 2 (20%)
If interested, you take on additional administrative tasks supporting the managing director in accounting with a 20% workload.
Your Profile
- You have a commercial or comparable education with many years of experience.
- You work reliably, efficiently, and have a high sense of responsibility.
- You are a communicative and committed personality and enjoy working with students.
- Teamwork and flexibility are essential.
- You have a confident handling of MS Office (Excel, Word) and SAP/comparable tools.
- Very good German and English skills (written/spoken) are essential.
- Familiarity with the Swiss nursing, university, and education landscape is an advantage, especially professional experience in the university teaching area.
