About the job
The Fairmont Monte Carlo is a luxury hotel located in the heart of the Principality of Monaco. It features 596 rooms, suites, and residences as well as four restaurants, three bars, a Fitness Center, a Spa, two swimming pools, Room Service, and a Catering service.
Under the responsibility of the Leisure Sales Director and in compliance with the procedures and standards of the Fairmont Monte Carlo, the holder of the position manages and monitors all commercial activities of the leisure segment. He/she is involved in the preparation, finalization, and execution of individual room offers, consortia, tour series, and ad hoc tours, in close collaboration with sales managers, the leisure commercial management, and the commercial management.
He/she plays a key role in coordination, administrative and commercial support for the entire leisure department, while ensuring smooth and reliable information flow between the different hotel departments.
Main missions:
- Assist the Leisure department in managing tour operators, tour series, ad hoc tours, travel agencies, and consortia,
- Handle phone calls, messages, and mail related to the Leisure commercial service, as well as client reception,
- Respond to requests from existing and prospective clients in the absence of the Sales Manager,
- Participate in maintaining current sales and ensure the availability of promotional documentation, in collaboration with the Marketing department,
- Organize fam trips and commercial visits:
- manage reservation forms,
- prepare visits, gifts, and brochures,
- coordinate with restaurants for the Food & Beverage (F&B) part.
- Ensure on-site presence during commercial events (fam trips, client invitations), according to the schedule established by management,
- Manage Ad Hoc group requests:
- prepare commercial proposals (rooms, meeting rooms, banquet spaces, F&B),
- forward files to the Events department for operational follow-up.
- Manage tour series requests:
- draft contracts,
- pass files to the Events department for operational follow-up,
- Conduct telemarketing actions based on the existing database,
- Ensure qualification and conversion of assigned individual and group files,
- Be responsible for data entry and updating in Opera Cloud (client databases and group blocks), according to client requirements,
- Guarantee the quality and reliability of information entered in Opera related to monitored files,
- Ensure follow-up and smooth information flow between the client and the various hotel departments,
- Update commercial databases,
- Participate in the preparation of emailing and mailing campaigns, in collaboration with Marketing, for special events (Monte-Carlo Circus Festival, Valentine’s Day, F1 Grand Prix, etc.),
- Assist in the development of packages and promotional offers for the Leisure market, in collaboration with the Revenue Director and the Commercial Director,
- Contribute to the implementation of policies and procedures in accordance with hotel standards and Revenue Management directives,
- Participate in internal hotel meetings,
- Participate in training provided by the establishment.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree level (Bac+3)
- At least 2 years of experience in international hospitality is an asset
- Fluent in French and English; Italian is a plus
- Excellent command of computer tools
- Proficiency in PMS Vega and Opera Cloud
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Developed commercial sense and strong customer orientation
