The Cantonal Civil Engineering Office Thurgau is looking for one employee due to retirement as of April 1, 2026, or by agreement

• You plan and check road signage and marking on cantonal roads.
• You participate in tenders and the implementation of signage – from awarding the contract to inspection.
• You support the Traffic Regulation department with technical questions regarding signage and marking.
• You advise internal and external contacts based on the applicable legal and normative requirements.

• A completed education as a draftsman EFZ, technician HF, or a comparable qualification
• Ideally a background in civil engineering, spatial planning, or a related field
• Interest in traffic, planning, and infrastructure topics
• Experience in planning is an advantage but not a requirement
• Career starters and re-entrants are explicitly welcome
• Knowledge in tendering and implementation phases is a plus – and can also be developed with us
