The Zug Canton Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the Canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatient and over 70,000 outpatient patients. More than 27,500 people are treated annually in the interdisciplinary emergency center.For our Pneumology department, we are looking for a Med. Medical Practice Assistant Pneumology 80 - 100% starting June 1, 2026.
Your Tasks
- Perform lung function tests, respiratory polygraphy (sleep diagnostics), and spiroergometry (together with the supervising physician)
- Management of patients with sleep apnea
- Planning and organization of specialist pneumology consultations
- Administrative tasks, including service recording and maintaining the electronic patient record
- If interested, participation in bronchoscopies (entire diagnostic spectrum, including cryobiopsies) and other interventional procedures (pleural puncture, PleurX catheter placements, etc.)
- Team leadership possible if suitable

- Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant
- Experience in consultation organization and patient administration
- Independent, structured, and efficient working style
- Reliable, flexible, and resilient personality with organizational talent
