• Setting up and operating the MAE wheelset press
• Joining wheels on drive and running wheelset shafts according to standards
• Programming new wheelsets based on work plans and drawings
• Finishing work and final inspections of completed axle drives
• Performing dimensional checks, quality assurance, and program corrections
• Various smaller assembly tasks of assemblies for narrow-gauge gearboxes
• Maintenance and care of the equipment

• Completed vocational training as a machine, polytechnic, or agricultural machinery mechanic with EFZ
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form are required
• Confident handling of assembly drawings
• Ideally, you have professional experience in operating CNC-controlled machines
• Structured, independent, and goal-oriented working style with a focus on quality
• Experience in handling measuring instruments and machine operation
• Conscious handling of materials, work equipment, and tools
• Enjoyment of work, commitment, and initiative
• Motivated, honest, and flexible personality
