Your area of responsibility
- Ensuring the high technical availability of our production equipment and infrastructure
- Independent fault analysis, troubleshooting and rectification on automated production systems
- Maintenance, servicing and repair of electrical, electronic and automation components
- Analysis and resolution of faults in PLC controls, sensors, actuators and other control components
- Optimisation and further development of existing PLC controls and automated processes
- Carrying out inspection, measurement and testing work on machines and systems
- Support with modifications, new installations and commissioning of production equipment
- Participation in technical projects and continuous improvements of our equipment and processes
- Ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health regulations
- Updating and maintaining technical documentation, electrical schematics and system records
- Cost-conscious handling of infrastructure, spare parts and operating materials
Your knowledge, skills and personality
- Completed vocational training as an Automation Technician with a Federal VET Diploma or comparable training in automation, electrical engineering or electrical installation
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial production equipment
- Good knowledge of PLC controls and interest in their further development and optimisation
- Good knowledge of electrical control, measurement and regulation technology
- Ability for systematic and analytical fault finding on complex machines and systems
- High technical understanding and enthusiasm for automation and continuous improvement
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Creative and cross-process thinking
- Reliable, flexible and team-oriented personality with high initiative
- Good PC user skills
- Very good German skills; English skills are an advantage
