Your Tasks

In specialist responsibility, you shape the diagnostics and treatment in the multiprofessional team
This includes the clinical-diagnostic assessment of patients, the indication, the clarification of the legal status, as well as the therapy planning and implementation
The focus is on older, mostly still independent patients – based on a transdiagnostic understanding and with the aim of maintaining their maximum autonomy
You actively drive the further development of our contemporary, patient-oriented, and integrative treatment concepts
You are also committed to their implementation in close collaboration with supervisors and the interprofessional team
You plan and coordinate the medical-therapeutic resource deployment on your station
Close collaboration with other focuses and stations of Psychiatry Baselland as well as with external caregivers and authorities is a matter of course for you
In addition, you actively participate in the training of assistant doctors and assistant psychologists

Your Profile

A specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy distinguishes you or you are close to obtaining it
You have already acquired the focus title in geriatric psychiatry or it is to be acquired as part of the employment
You are open to cross-setting activities in the sense of treatment continuity
Working in multiprofessional teams brings you joy; your quick comprehension, independent working style, and responsible actions convince
Leadership skills and enjoyment in the conceptual further development of treatments are among your strengths
A recognized MEBEKO recognition is available
Very good German language skills in spoken and written (at least level C1) complete your profile
