About the job
- Participate in administrative and project tasks in the field of external relations as well as in positioning the city of Bern in regional, cantonal, and national committees
- Collaborate in the implementation of the neighborhood participation reform project
- Contribute to the conception and realization of projects in democracy promotion
- Develop basics, concepts, and statements as well as conduct statistical evaluations
- Carry out a research project on a regional political issue
- University degree in political, social, or economic sciences, preferably a master’s degree or close to completion
- Understanding and strong interest in political/democratic processes
- Solid knowledge of the Swiss political system and a strong affinity for the tension between politics, administration, and the public
- Team player with high social competence, conceptual thinking, as well as planning and organizational skills
- Good editorial skills and language proficiency (English/French)
