What you bring

• 3-year commercial training
• Very good German and English skills, French skills are an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in a similar role are an advantage
• Enjoyment of international contacts & negotiations as well as a strong interest in sustainable trade relationships with our suppliers & customers
• A confident, service- and customer-oriented personality
• Responsible, independent and precise work as well as an empathetic, open nature with high initiative and a flair for numbers
• Quick comprehension so that you recognize relevant contexts and can set priorities

Your tasks

• Purchase and sale of green coffee from producers, cooperatives and local exporters from over 26 countries to importers and roasters in over 40 countries
• Active customer and supplier support as well as acquisition of new customers
• Quality assurance – daily cupping of purchased coffees
• Creation and dispatch of price lists for the market area
• Inventory management
• Interpretation of market data (forecasts, harvest estimates, weather data)
• Deputizing for the green coffee exchange during absences
