As a subsidiary of the shipping company of Lake Lucerne (SGV), Tavolago AG operates the gastronomy on all 5 steam and 14 motor vessels of the SGV, and also on land we pamper our customers in several establishments as well as at catering and large events for up to 5000 guests. Our land establishments include the LUZ Seebistro, the Wirtshaus Taube, the CHÄRNSMATT – Inn & Play Paradise, and the Grill Restaurant Ampersand. In addition, we are the gastro partner of the Pilatus Arena and the Messe Luzern.

Head of Gastronomy on Land / Member of the Executive Board

We are looking for a new Head of Gastronomy on Land / Member of the Executive Board (a), 100%, starting November 1, 2025 or by agreement

Here’s what you need to do

You will take full strategic and operational responsibility for the business area "Gastronomy on Land and Catering & Events"
As a member of the executive board, you will be the face of our company and represent us externally. At the same time, you will develop the company further with your foresight.
You will be supported by 6 operations managers whom you will lead directly and will take overall responsibility for about 100 employees
You will bear the overall financial responsibility for your business area and actively work towards achieving medium- and long-term strategic goals
You will oversee the personnel planning of your business area, coach and develop especially leaders, but also employees
You will monitor the offer and pricing and guarantee the high quality of all services - also thanks to regular on-site visits
You will ensure smooth communication and collaboration with all interfaces (ownerships & landlords)

Here’s what we wish from you

You have completed a hotel management school degree or at least an equivalent qualification
You have your main residence in Central Switzerland - you know the area well and are well-connected
You bring many years of solid experience in Swiss gastronomy
You have several years of group management and multi-unit leadership experience and have already been responsible for a business area
You speak fluent German (both spoken and written) and English, any additional language is a plus
You are very strong organizationally and make solid decisions even in hectic moments
You bring very good administrative skills (Office Suite, Business Central, Vectron, Protel)
You identify with the department and the corporate values of Tavolago AG and represent them
You have gained initial experience as a member of the executive board
