The Flury Foundation, with more than 600 employees at the Schiers hospital, the three nursing homes Schiers, Jenaz and Klosters, Spitex, assisted living, daycare, parental counseling, and the Medical Center Klosters, ensures comprehensive and integrated healthcare in the Prättigau between Grüsch and Klosters. Our hospital in Schiers is a modern acute care hospital providing basic care with an interdisciplinary ward with 41 beds for the surgery, medicine, gynecology, and obstetrics clinics, an outpatient day clinic, the emergency room, and the certified Intermediate Care Station (IMC). The obstetrics department consists of the delivery ward and the postpartum ward. We are a lively, experienced, and dedicated team of midwives. Each year, we support about 180 expectant parents during pregnancy, childbirth, and the inpatient postpartum period. Individual, needs-oriented, and empathetic care for families is important to us. We are looking for a midwife 60 - 70% (temporary 01.05.2026 to 31.12.2026) for the gynecology/obstetrics department starting immediately or by arrangement. Your responsibilities include: › Needs-oriented and individual care of pregnant women, women in labor, and postpartum mothers › Conducting pregnancy check-ups in cooperation with medical staff › Independent management of childbirth in cooperation with the obstetric on-call doctor › Independent care of postpartum mothers and their newborns during the postpartum period › Interdisciplinary collaboration with doctors and other nursing departments. Your profile: › Training as a certified midwife FH/HF › Quick comprehension, independent, solution-oriented, and reliable working style › Communicative, friendly, and empathetic personality with high social competence and teamwork skills.
