Your area of responsibility

• You bring your flair for service-oriented service and team-oriented personnel management and thus manage to maintain and further develop the level of our gastronomy
• You take over the coordinating and operational overall responsibility for the restaurant area. In doing so, you ensure smooth operations, actively assist in daily business, and are a competent strategic sparring partner for the head of gastronomy
• You lead, motivate, and develop a team of around 15 employees including deployment planning, employee discussions, staff training, and individual support
• As a trainer, you accompany and train our apprentices (restaurant specialist EFZ)
• You organize and supervise events and served occasions from planning through execution to final billing
• You ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, and service standards
• You guarantee efficient, interdisciplinary cooperation with internal and external partners as well as other areas of the Zurich Police and Justice Center
• You are co-responsible for financial administration, including cash accounting and management of the cash register system (TCPOS)

Your profile

• You have completed basic training as an EFZ restaurant specialist supplemented by business management training (gastro operations manager with federal diploma / HFP or hotel management school HF)
• You convince with several years of professional experience in a comparable position
• You have a good grasp and a high willingness to serve and do not get easily unsettled
• You are an empathetic and motivating leader who brings high flexibility and knows how to inspire the team by positive example and achieve goals together
• You are open to irregular working hours and occasional weekend shifts
