Your Tasks
- Collaborate in the preparation of the budget, forecast, and annual accounts of the city of Winterthur with a focus on investment processes
- Continuous development of the city's investment (planning) processes
- Advice and support for employees of the city of Winterthur on financial and credit law issues
- Preparation of internal city statements on financial matters in the area of investment projects/project accounting
- Preparation and presentation of financial data for various stakeholders (city council, city parliament, etc.)
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree (Business Administration or Public Management) or comparable education/training or on the way to it
- Interest in political processes and tasks of public administration
- Analytical thinking, flair for numbers, and initiative
- Reliable and independent working style
- Very good MS Office skills with a focus on Excel functions for processing large amounts of data, Abacus knowledge is an advantage
