Research Associate Sustainable Management and Circular Economy (60 - 80 %)

Your tasks:
In an innovative working environment, you are part of a committed, interdisciplinary team and work on application-oriented research projects in the field of sustainable management and circular economy, often with a connection to agriculture and nutrition. In doing so, you take on the following activities:
- scientific analyses in close contact with practice partners (companies or civil society organizations)
- researching, evaluating and documenting ongoing activities and results as well as implementing research results into practice
- collaborating on and creating scientific publications
- collaborating and acquiring new, third-party funded R&D projects
If interested and suitable, you implement the findings from applied R&D in new, innovative teaching and training concepts.
The position is initially limited to 1 year, an extension is possible.
Your profile:
We are looking for an independent, service-oriented and team-capable person. A successful master's degree in an economic or social science discipline is a prerequisite for the position. The following points complete your profile:
- in-depth, documented knowledge in the areas of sustainable management, circular economy and sustainable business models
- experience along the value chain, connection to the topic of nutrition is an advantage
- solid knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods of empirical social research (guided interviews, case studies)
- experience in collaboration with practice partners (SMEs and NPOs)
- business fluent English, French skills are an advantage
- motivation, teamwork, reliability, personal commitment and flexibility
- experience in acquiring third-party funded R&D projects desired
