Research Associate Sustainable Management and Circular Economy (60 - 80 %)

Your tasks:

In an innovative working environment, you are part of a committed, interdisciplinary team and work on application-oriented research projects in the field of sustainable management and circular economy, often with a connection to agriculture and nutrition. In doing so, you take on the following activities:

scientific analyses in close contact with practice partners (companies or civil society organizations)
researching, evaluating and documenting ongoing activities and results as well as implementing research results into practice
collaborating on and creating scientific publications
collaborating and acquiring new, third-party funded R&D projects

If interested and suitable, you implement the findings from applied R&D in new, innovative teaching and training concepts.

The position is initially limited to 1 year, an extension is possible.

Your profile:

We are looking for an independent, service-oriented and team-capable person. A successful master's degree in an economic or social science discipline is a prerequisite for the position. The following points complete your profile:

in-depth, documented knowledge in the areas of sustainable management, circular economy and sustainable business models
experience along the value chain, connection to the topic of nutrition is an advantage
solid knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods of empirical social research (guided interviews, case studies)
experience in collaboration with practice partners (SMEs and NPOs)
business fluent English, French skills are an advantage
motivation, teamwork, reliability, personal commitment and flexibility
experience in acquiring third-party funded R&D projects desired
