Scientific Employee Cybercrime NEDIK 80%
Tasks
- Collaboration in the nationwide network for investigative support in combating digital crime (NEDIK)
- Systematic analysis of personal and factual information to create the national cybercrime case overview
- Preparation of data, development of hypotheses, and derivation of recommendations for action
- Recognition of crime patterns and visualization of relevant information
- Conducting research, classification of data, and identification of criminal police relevant connections
- Identification of new international partnerships for NEDIK
- Evaluation and further development of IT tools and methods to support NEDIK
- Participation in expert committees, lecturing, and training of police officers
- Quality assurance in data processing as well as optimization of business processes and interfaces
- Support with administrative and technical tasks of NEDIK
Profile
- University degree in computer science, technology, or law (or equivalent education)
- Several years of professional experience in project management, ideally in the field of cybercrime or digitized crime
- Native German speaker and fluent English skills, as well as good knowledge of Italian and French are advantageous
- Strong IT affinity and interest in technological developments
- Team-oriented, resilient personality with a high sense of responsibility
- Independent, reliable, and precise working style with great care
- Excellent organizational skills as well as a confident appearance and pronounced communication skills
- Editorial skills and experience in writing texts
- Impeccable reputation
