Chief Physician in CTR (M/F)

The Gilly Hospital, a pioneering treatment and rehabilitation center (CTR) in the canton of Vaud since 1989, has been serving the region since 1922. With 42 rehabilitation beds, this ideally located establishment offers stunning views of the Alps and Lake Geneva. Additionally, our temporary reception center (CAT) with five places offers activities for seniors four days a week.

We are looking for 2 Chief Physicians for the Gilly Hospital: for November 2025 and May 2026 for a duration of one year.

Chief Physician in CTR (M/F) at 60-100%

YOU POSSESS

• The title of federal specialist or formally recognized in general internal medicine by the MEBEKO.
• A particular interest in geriatric rehabilitation and palliative care.
• The ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
• An initiative spirit, organization, and collegiality.
• A means of transportation and a driver's license, ideally.

YOUR OBJECTIVES

• Ensure clinical supervision of the overall care of patients in geriatric rehabilitation or palliative care.
• Work interdisciplinarily with the nursing and therapy services (ergotherapy-physiotherapy, psychology-neuropsychology, nurses, dietitians) with the aim of coordinated care and achieving common goals.
• Contact and have privileged access to acute care and specialists in the EHC network, ensuring medical quality and information fluidity.
• Participate in second-line on-call duties, during the week and on weekends, one week out of 5.
• Supervise, support, and train the 7 assistant doctors in developing their skills and evolving their careers.
• Be supported by 3 specialized senior physicians in internal medicine, geriatrics, and palliative care to contribute to your professional development.
